By day I work to help protect natural and working lands in California. On the weekends I explore all the beautiful places and things that Sonoma County and environs have to offer. My photography experience spans nearly 30 years including thirteen years in Los Angeles where I was named one of LA’s top headshot photographers by Backstage West. 

I believe that the challenge and delight of photography is observing and working with the effects of light. Whether it's natural or studio light, on a model or on a mountain, lighting creates the feeling of the image. While shooting, hiking or just people watching, I am constantly fascinated by the interplay of light and subject. 

My commercial photography journey began in Los Angeles in 1995 where I worked with actors, models, and talent agencies to capture vital marketing imagery. My client list includes thousands of happy actors, models, musicians, authors, businesspeople and everyday folks!
